Google hired Art & Logic to develop a catalog of promotional products they offer to companies to assist them in gaining visibility at Google Places. The products all feature the Places Push Pin image. A dynamic HTML5 front end featuring sliding page transitions was used to deliver a catalog experience to the user. The application includes a shopping cart-like feature for selecting and submitting a request for materials.
Discovery Communications hired Art & Logic to develop a customized Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. The software allows Discovery to efficiently process hundreds of thousands of images per year. Discovery can ingest images from multiple sources, tag with metadata, rank, and comment. The software manages approvals with users inside and outside of the system, and shares images with media partners. Motorola's SURFboard wireless cable modem incorporates gateway, firewall, VPN, and WEP security features. Art & Logic developed an API which allowed cable service providers to customize the interface at runtime, selectively hiding and showing content and changing fields to read/write or read-only. The interface was integrated with a customized version of the GoAhead Webserver and Art & Logic's own Device Management Framework.

The system provides thousands of product choices to help create beautiful designs for kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, accessories, and more. CandyWarehouse.com hired Art & Logic to develop Truffle Shuffle, a candy-themed "match 3" game. The game is written in JavaScript, which allows it to run on iOS and on the web.

Art & Logic was hired by Phluent, Inc. to complete a J2EE eCommerce site for the Hino Motor Sales company. Art & Logic worked closely with Phluent to streamline the requirements for the site and converge on a final deliverable with sample data provided by Phluent's client dealers. Skycomp wanted to replace the need to print out 1000's of traffic survey pictures so that "counters" could scan through the pictures and count vehicles, marking each picture with a grease pencil. A flash application was built to load the images in a viewer area with marking tools to replace the grease pencil. Different types of vehicles were marked with different symbols. AssetTracker is an in-house application built for Deployed Resources LLC, a veteran-owned provider of comprehensive support systems, mobile kitchens, showers, and restrooms, and other field equipment for disaster relief, public utility projects, special events, and the US Department of Defense. The application tracks the location of equipment, its status, and use history.
Sauk County, Wisconsin hired Art & Logic to re-brand a Flash game. The original game allowed users to create hypothetical budgets for New York City. For example, players could decide to raise taxes or cut emergency services in an attempt to balance the budget. Art & Logic made modifications to the user interface and the internal data so that the game was for the Sauk County budget instead of the New York City budget.

HP hired Art & Logic to develop an embedded web-based management interface for their DesignJet series of large format printers. The interface allows users to manage the print queue, configure printer settings, and monitor and order supplies. The interface was designed to fit the look and feel of HP's online website, making transitions from the internal embedded interface to HP's website appear seamless to the operator.

Art & Logic developed a suite of web applications that provides Harcourt's Reading and Math Assessment Tests to elementary school students across the country via the internet. The applications enable school superintendents to create Teacher accounts, who in turn can create Student accounts, create classroom groups, assign tests to students either as a group or as part of their individual development plans. Oakley hired Art & Logic to develop key portions of their website using PHP/MySQL. Developed components included administrative tools, reports, and a custom content management system. Given the enormous load on the Oakley site, the key challenges were to develop a system that could handle this much traffic while also providing the flexibility for Oakley to update the site frequently. Using the GoAhead WebServer and an early version of the Art & Logic Device Manage Framework, Art & Logic was able to develop a highly interactive interface, including real-time scrolling graphs, in only 116K of memory.
Terry Hines & Associates hired us to create applications for viewing local movie showtimes. We began by designing an SMS based search tool, to be used as a part of our client's motion picture marketing campaigns. After the initial phase we developed a website and a mobile WAP site, which serve as entertainment resource gateways. iTrain is a website that sells downloadable music for workouts. Art & Logic was responsible for all aspects of the project, including user interface design, layout, and construction; administrative tools, setting up e-commerce, testing, and project management. Most of the user interface is done in Flash. The server-side code is PHP/MySQL. There are multiple servers, with load balancing. You'll need to register to get a password to log into the site. Registering is quick, simple, and free.

WaveScribe is a web-based mechanism that coordinates the transfer of data between medical professionals and online transcriptionists. Medical professionals upload voice data to the system. Transcriptionists log onto the WaveScribe application from a standard web browser and view the voice files as pending transcription jobs. In 1996, managing a networking device with a web browser was almost unheard of. Sonoma Systems, later acquired by Nortel, chose Art & Logic for our strong object-oriented capabilities. The embedded solution created by Art & Logic "solved the problem behind the problem," in the words of the client. The project involved close interaction with the OS vendor (ISI) because Art & Logic engineers were pushing their pSOS C++ compiler farther than anyone had before. Printers are among the many networked devices getting web-based management systems. Recognizing that their in-house web design team might not have the specialized experience for device management, a Hewlett Packard division based in Spain asked Art & Logic to create the management interface for the DesignJet 5000. The final product features dynamic ink level monitoring and print job status (using proprietary lightweight JavaScript code), printer configuration, design integration with the DesignJet support web site, and internationalization of the user interface for six languages.

Art & Logic created a service that lets parts makers complete the complex IPX1752 reporting form, that previously required hundreds of cells to be completed individually in forms declaring all the parts and materials in all forms of electronics. For example, if you are a hard drive manufacturer (one of their customers), you have to declare thousands of parts and substances in your product. Rather than do that manually, this site helps you manage that process.

This included professionally produced messages on a variety of themes, such as "you're a terrible boss", "my team beat your team", and "I'm sorry". The Canadian Tax Foundation hired Art & Logic to make their conference schedules and presentations available to attendees on their mobile devices. Leveraging the principles of Responsive Design, we created a contemporary UI that met CTF's communication goals while dynamically adapting itself to the broad spectrum of device dimensions, resolutions, and usage patterns. The attendee experience was backed by a node.js server running a custom Content Management System (CMS), allowing CTF to customize the site's contents for each of the many conferences it hosts every year.

MedExpress is a fast-growing company managing patient medical records for an increasing number of clients extending across multiple states in the US. In addition to collecting and storing patient medical records, MedExpress handles requests from patients or their representatives for copies of personal healthcare documents.
