Rich Internet Applications with Adobe® Flash®, Flex®, & AIR™
Contact us to discuss your Flash®, Flex®, and AIR™ needs.

The web’s success has sometimes been attributed to the simplicity of HTML-based interfaces. However, the lack of interactivity in web browsers can restrict the functionality of web-based applications. ECMAScript (JavaScript) can do more than many people realize, but it has limitations.
A variety of tools have been developed to address the general problem of "rich" internet applications. In the 1990's, Adobe® Flash® became a popular way to create and distribute rich content using animation-based development tools.
More recently, Adobe® has released Flex® and AIR™ (Adobe Integrated Runtime), a collection of technologies for building rich applications using programming models that are geared towards traditional application developers. Art & Logic has been hired to design & develop several Flex®-based applications that run within the AIR™ and Flash® player.

Web Standards & Accessibility
Art & Logic’s web applications conform to World Wide Web Consortium (W3C.org) standards, ensuring interoperability with current and future web technologies. Our applications comply with government accessibility laws such as Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act as needed.
Long-Term Technology Relationships
Art & Logic takes a flexible, long-term approach to technology and design decisions. We use our knowledge of most major software technologies to help you choose the best platform for your application. If the right tools don’t exist, we can build them from scratch or assemble pre-existing components.
Of course, your long-term support plans, existing systems, schedule, and budget weigh heavily into these decisions. We take the time to get to know our clients and the business requirements for their software.
