Plugins
Contact us to discuss your plugin needs.
A plugin is a software component that fits inside an existing software product, adding new functionality for the end user. As such, it not only needs to present a unique and compelling user experience; it also needs to operate smoothly within the strictures of the host program. Although most plugin SDKs (Software Development Kits) are intended to be easy to use, all of them have idiosyncracies that are only understood after development has begun. Consequently, not only does Art & Logic’s ability to learn new technologies become important, but our real-world experience developing VST, DirectX, Photoshop, iTunes, Windows Media Player, and many other styles of plugins is critical to understanding project parameters.
We are able to link to your code, and even guide you through the process of preparing a library or object code module for us, thus keeping your proprietary routines completely shielded from anyone outside of your organization. Needless to say, our NDA and Work Agreement prohibits Art & Logic from disclosing this information anyway, but we will do whatever it takes to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the working arrangement.

Long-Term Technology Relationships
Art & Logic takes a flexible, long-term approach to technology and design decisions. We use our knowledge of most major software technologies to help you choose the best platform for your application. If the right tools don’t exist, we can build them from scratch or assemble pre-existing components.
Of course, your long-term support plans, existing systems, schedule, and budget weigh heavily into these decisions. We take the time to get to know our clients and the business requirements for their software.
