The application tracks the location of equipment, its status, and use history.

Art & Logic was hired to create an online transcription service for Rapid Transcript. WaveScribe is a web-based mechanism that coordinates the transfer of data between medical professionals and online transcriptionists. Medical professionals upload voice data to the system. Transcriptionists log onto the WaveScribe application from a standard web browser and view the voice files as pending transcription jobs. Transcriptionists can accept the next available job in the system, listen to the recorded data online and transcribe the data directly into the system. WaveScribe provides the necessary administrative tools to Rapid Transcript editors to approve the transcriptions, track performance of transcriptionists, and to arrange proper compensation to those providing the service.
