After successfully developing the OS X driver for their Pro|Click mouse, Razer hired Art & Logic to develop a driver and control application for their more advanced DeathAdder gaming mouse. Working from the Pro|Click project code as a base, the driver and daemon application were adapted to work with the DeathAdder, while a new control application with a unique user interface was developed from scratch. The control application was particularly challenging due to its UI requirements, but the end result was a near duplicate of the Windows user experience, as the client had requested.

Skycomp later hired Art & Logic to enhance SkyTracker II with the ability to render ECW images, making it possible to quickly scan and annotate much larger, high resolution images.

Art & Logic was hired by the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) to create an iPad version of their Duct Sizing Calculator device. The application consists of high-resolution scanned images of both sides of the calculator device which are implemented as stacked images that can rotate over the top of one another so that the user can interact with the calculator via iPad gestures in exactly the same way as they would use the analog version of the device.

It facilitates a global prayer chain and is part of a prayer initiative by a church called "777" which encourages prayer seven days a week at 7am and 7pm. Skycomp wanted to replace the need to print out 1000's of traffic survey pictures so that "counters" could scan through the pictures and count vehicles, marking each picture with a grease pencil. A flash application was built to load the images in a viewer area with marking tools to replace the grease pencil. Different types of vehicles were marked with different symbols. For example, players could decide to raise taxes or cut emergency services in an attempt to balance the budget. Art & Logic made modifications to the user interface and the internal data so that the game was for the Sauk County budget instead of the New York City budget.
Leica Microscopy, in Switzerland, hired Art & Logic to port their Windows image manipulation software to the Macintosh platform. Art & Logic was responsible for the application, drivers, and TWAIN drivers. The resulting software captures 24-bit image data from a digital camera and renders it on the screen in real time. Images can be saved to a variety of file formats, including TIFF, JPEG, and PICT.
HP hired Art & Logic to develop an embedded web-based management interface for their DesignJet series of large format printers. The interface allows users to manage the print queue, configure printer settings, and monitor and order supplies. Working with Echo Digital Audio Corporation, Art & Logic ported their generic driver framework from Windows NT to Mac OS, created ASIO and OMS drivers, and a console application. The program allows the user to connect components such as images and sliders to build detailed graphical landscapes that are both beautiful and functional. These landscapes let beginning musicians play along with a CD, even if they don't know the chords of the song, while spectacular graphics are synchronized to the music.
Daily News Pix is the photo archive of New York's Daily News, showcasing 90 years of images from the tabloid. Art & Logic developed this web site for Lightbox Network. Users can browse for images by category or search for images and may purchase professional, framed prints. Media users may register and license images for publication, and the tools in Daily News Pix allow an administrative user to invoice license holders, review and update print orders, and manage royalties for contributing photographers, as well as customize the home page and other site content.

Lightbox Network, Inc. hired Art & Logic to develop a Windows version of its media manager application. The software allows photographers to do "live" shoots with a tethered camera, such that images and movies can be processed and uploaded to the Lightbox server as the shoot is happening. Editors can then see virtually real-time progress of the shoot online and interact by requesting larger versions of the captured media and beginning work on the post process. Images and video can also be manually uploaded, and all uploads are managed via an upload manager.
Font Diner had a set of scripts for Adobe Photoshop to apply image distressing affects to an image. They wanted a faster, more powerful way to do these affects while protecting their original images and maintaining cross-platform support. Art & Logic delivered the plug-in on Windows XP, Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X (PowerPC and Intel), and updates when, new at the time, Photoshop CS3 was released. The plug-in was faster and more powerful than the original scripts, had a unique interface, and kept the client's proprietary data secure.
MedID Technologies hired Art & Logic to develop a personal medical documents system that runs on a USB flash drive (kind of like a smart Medicalert bracelet). The user plugs it into a Mac or Windows computer and securely edits a variety of medical data, or shows it to their health care professional.

Researchers who present posters at scientific or medical symposia often have to create hundreds of scaled-down, hard-to-read printouts of their poster for handing out at the session. Dark Scorpion's Poster Commander is a less expensive and "green" alternative to poster handouts, and allows a researcher to transmit, using the iPhone's Bluetooth capability, an electronic file (PDF) of the poster from his or her iPhone to the iPhones of attendees who also have this app. Through the "Statistics" screen, poster presenters can keep track of how many times each poster is downloaded and, if selected, the contact information of the person who downloaded the application.

The application was written in Java and deployed on Mac OS X. Phillips RFID tags are attached to theatrical gels. The application encodes information about the sequence of colors on the strings and allows personnel to track the product through to shipment.
iTrain is a website that sells downloadable music for workouts. Art & Logic was responsible for all aspects of the project, including user interface design, layout, and construction; administrative tools, setting up e-commerce, testing, and project management. Most of the user interface is done in Flash. The server-side code is PHP/MySQL. There are multiple servers, with load balancing. You'll need to register to get a password to log into the site. Registering is quick, simple, and free.

WaveScribe is a web-based mechanism that coordinates the transfer of data between medical professionals and online transcriptionists. Medical professionals upload voice data to the system. Transcriptionists log onto the WaveScribe application from a standard web browser and view the voice files as pending transcription jobs. M Financial Group hired Art & Logic to develop a native BlackBerry application to allow clients to access contact information hosted by third-party data providers. Users can log into the application, search for contacts, and view detailed information about those contacts via web services published by the data provider. Users can easily phone or email their contacts by clicking hyperlinks that invoke the corresponding BlackBerry applications. The application also utilizes BlackBerry GPS capabilities along with Google Maps to provide directions to a contact's location from the user's current location.

The MiCARD system includes a small rechargeable battery powered card with a color viewing screen and web-based software for loading the card with personal health information. Art & Logic created both Windows and Mac OS versions of "NeonCAD". Users can design arbitrarily complex neon signs using the CAD tools provided, and animate those signs using the client's proprietary neon control technology that allows light to appear to move through a neon tube. The animation patterns may be previewed on the computer. The resulting sign layouts can be printed for sign fabricators, and the animation control data can be saved to the client's neon controller hardware for deployment.
The Office Exec software intercepts print requests from any application and allows the user to specify print, fax, e-mail and storage parameters for the job. The client software then sends the print job via TCP/IP to the server software running on Windows 2000 Server, where the job is routed to the appropriate output device based on the job parameters. Wingman is an iPhone app that generates pickup lines based on user input for several categories (Face/Body/Intelligence, etc). The application selects a pickup line based on the point value of each of the user selections. The Lite version randomizes the selections, not allowing user choice. In the full version, the user can take a photo or choose an image from their photo library to replace the "girl" image on the pickup line screen.

Project Paint Research contacted Art & Logic to create a Windows CE application to look up paint mix formulas. Users can select a make, model, year, and manufacturer's paint color or code. In 1996, managing a networking device with a web browser was almost unheard of. Sonoma Systems, later acquired by Nortel, chose Art & Logic for our strong object-oriented capabilities. Art & Logic created a service that lets parts makers complete the complex IPX1752 reporting form, that previously required hundreds of cells to be completed individually in forms declaring all the parts and materials in all forms of electronics.
