A special surprise appears after matching all ten pals. We developed this iPhone application using Apple's iPhone 2.0 SDK and xCode 3.1. Another variation of the game was released as ABC Alphabet Game for kids with Henry & Hailey. Henry & Hailey's Preschool Pals was nominated for the 2008 Best App Ever Awards.

iPad Application for ACCA Duct Sizing Calculator

Art & Logic was hired by the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) to create an iPad version of their Duct Sizing Calculator device. The application consists of high-resolution scanned images of both sides of the calculator device which are implemented as stacked images that can rotate over the top of one another so that the user can interact with the calculator via iPad gestures in exactly the same way as they would use the analog version of the device.

All device communication was accomplished using Apple's CoreMIDI technology, providing an efficient, quality experience for the user.

Music in Education™ for Yamaha

"The philosophy of the Music In Education program is singular in purpose: to create a classroom music program that provides a contemporary focus to the musical and curricular traditions of the general music classroom." Art & Logic was hired by Yamaha to port the Windows version of Music in Education™ to a native Cocoa application for Mac OS X. The MIE system includes 16 MIE keyboards linked with MIDI to the MIE software running on a G4 Macintosh computer. The software provides a hands-on learning experience for students while freeing the instructor to move among the students while accessing accompaniments and music samples via a wireless remote control system.

This innovative system allows access to your important medical information at any time or location. The Office Exec software intercepts print requests from any application and allows the user to specify print, fax, e-mail and storage parameters for the job. The client software then sends the print job via TCP/IP to the server software running on Windows 2000 Server, where the job is routed to the appropriate output device based on the job parameters. Art & Logic used XML and XSLT technologies to create dynamic dialogs that system administrators can easily configure on the server. MallTV is a portal for cell phones and television and links users to popular third-party third-party websites. A&L created scripts to parse throught ESPN's mobile content and convert it to the MallTV matrix format, now called MallMobi. The Matrix is dyamically created depending on the number of links found on each ESPN page that are associated with numbered keys on the phone. In order to maintain capatibility with the Blackberry, iPhone, and Treo, text was converted to images for the interface because it was discovered that not all devices support all font sizes. Separate versions were created iPhone, and MobilePC/Blackberry/Treo.

Pickup Lines on Your iPhone

Wingman is an iPhone app that generates pickup lines based on user input for several categories (Face/Body/Intelligence, etc). The application selects a pickup line based on the point value of each of the user selections. The Lite version randomizes the selections, not allowing user choice. In the full version, the user can take a photo or choose an image from their photo library to replace the "girl" image on the pickup line screen.

Designated Driver iPhone App

NeoWave Institute hired Art & Logic to develop one of the first socially responsible iPhone apps to allow a user to reach out to family, friends or a cab to request a ride when a designated driver becomes necessary. A user can configure Designated Driver to send messages to up to 5 recipients. Each message includes a call back number and a Google Map link to the user's location. Alternatively, the user can click a button to contact a national taxi service to request a taxi if friends are not available or not willing to come get them.
