NBCUPhotobank.com was developed by Art & Logic for Lightbox Network to deliver selected content from NBC's digital asset management application, also developed by Art & Logic for Lightbox Network, to media outlets and publications. Media users can browse or search the site for celebrity images and shows from any NBCU network and register to gain access to high-res content. NBCU admins determine access restrictions for registered users, such as how many images per month a user may download or whether they can use a credit card to purchase licenses.

Media users may register and license images for publication, and the tools in Daily News Pix allow an administrative user to invoice license holders, review and update print orders, and manage royalties for contributing photographers, as well as customize the home page and other site content.
