PSAR Systems, a real-estate appraisal company, hired Art & Logic to develop a Windows application that, using PSAR's proprietary technology, automatically provided property appraisals when supplied with just a property address. Art & Logic later converted this Windows application into a web-based application. A large SQL database was designed and implemented to replace both the client's old data store and to provide integrated accounting, generalized P2P interface definitions, internationalization support, and abstracted algorithm support. An application layer was designed and implemented using XML to communicate with clients/vendors at both ends of the solution, and to communicate with the computation engine's COM automation interface.
