Digital Audio Plugin SDK and Support

When ROLAND® decided to add a third-party plugin architecture to their popular V-STUDIOS™ digital audio workstations, they called Art & Logic for assistance. Through a partnership between the two companies, Art & Logic consulted with ROLAND engineers developing the VS8F-3 expansion card, and created a Software Development Kit (SDK) to be used by third-party developers of audio effects plugins. When ROLAND® decided to add a third-party plugin architecture to their popular V-STUDIOS™ digital audio workstations, they called Art & Logic for assistance. Through a partnership between the two companies, Art & Logic consulted with ROLAND engineers developing the VS8F-3 expansion card, and created a Software Development Kit (SDK) to be used by third-party developers of audio effects plugins. Art & Logic played a critical role in all phases of this project. Early in the design process, Art & Logic advised the ROLAND engineers when selecting a DSP chip for their card. After the successful release of the SDK, Art & Logic became ROLAND's development and support partner, assisting third-party developers and acting as a liaison with ROLAND's design team in Japan.

iTunes Plugin for SRS Labs

SRS Labs hired us to develop an iTunes plug-in so they could bring their WowHd audio processing technology to Mac users. The plug-in (including a free trial version) is available here.

Adjustable Furniture Control from Your iPhone

Leggett & Platt® contracted Art & Logic to create an iPhone and iPod touch interface to their Omega Power Motion™ line of adjustable furniture. The app communicates over an ad hoc WiFi network and is used to control power recliners, rockers, gliders, and other motion furniture. Users can define a variety of preset positions from closed to full recline.

High Profile iOS Work Utilizing 3D Technology!

This work has been featured in write ups from the New York Times to the Houston Chronicle, and we are very proud to have been a part of the work and have such a strong relationship with the client, iGlobe, even today. Art & Logic was hired to build an application for iOS and Mac that can display a realtime rendering of Earth with the ability to layer streaming weather data layer (this rendering is displayed on a 3D spherical screen)--basically an amazing 3D view of Earth built from scratch that does real-time visualization of the earth with overlays from various agencies. more...
