Affiliated vendors offer substantial discounts on products and services in exchange for a guaranteed bulk sale. Users can select their target region and view the deal of the day for that area. They are encouraged to purchase the deal of the day and spread news about it to social networking websites in order to encourage more people to make purchases. A minimum number of purchases is required in order for the deal of the day to be accepted. Art & Logic also developed the administrative back-end, which allows maintaining the bargains by area, user account information, and more. The web application is built with Ruby on Rails, with a MySQL database backend.

Windows Service for Monitoring and Arbitrating Printers

Comprehensive Control Systems makes a line of copier control touch screen products for metering, monetizing, and controlling access to copiers. Industries served include law, accounting, financial, and educational institutions. When they decided to expand their products to network printers, they hired Art & Logic to develop a Windows service to intercept and hold incoming print jobs, collect pertinent information about each job, store the gathered information in a database, and then process or cancel the job depending on business logic provided by another service.
